1. Methodological Guide of Theatre Techniques for Young People

We will create a Methodological Guide of Theatre Techniques, in which we will collect all the aspects of management, methods and procedures that should be taken into account for a proper development of the sessions with young participants and how to intervene in a correct way to make theatre an educational tool to work different knowledge and values. In order to do this, we believe that it is necessary to carry out a study of the activities given in the different associations and, by consensus, to identify the useful and quality practices in order to create this manual. Once this analysis has been done, it will be drafted taking into account the following issues: 1.MANAGEMENT AND MATERIALS • Group management: Agreed guidelines on how to proceed with the groups in an effective way. • Materials and technological aspects needed: List of all the technical and practical requirements we will need for each session. 2.ORGANISATION • Workshop contents: We consider it very important to prepare the workshops in advance according to the following parameters: – What will be the theme of my workshop? – What activity or activities will I use in my workshop? – What competences will be worked on in my workshop? – What result do I expect or how will my workshop enrich the participants? • Optimisation of time and resources. 3. WORKSHOP DESIGN • Structure: We propose the following example model: – Presentation – Introduction to the topic – Main practical activity – Closing of the session • Different approaches: as we consider that knowledge is transmitted and grows in a being in multiple ways, we will collect different methodologies and techniques. 4. GLOSSARY OF TERMS: It will collect and define the specific terms of the theatrical field that will be used in the guide and may present some doubt. The guide will be written in English and each partner will be responsible for translating it into the language of their

2. Theatre Workshops in Harghita, Romania

One of the central axes of our project is the development of Theatre Workshops with young people (based on the methodology developed in Activity 1. “Methodological Guide of Theatre Techniques for Young People”),in this case we will conduct theatre workshops in Romania with a group of local participants and guests from Spain. In these workshops the following technical aspects (practical and theoretical) of performance will be worked on: I. Corporal expression – The body as an expressive element – Fundamental aspects – Movement education – The body and its purpose on stage – Working with the participant II. Vocal expression – Introduction to vocal technique – Breathing – Voice characteristics – Articulation – Modulation – Projection III. The expressive value of the spontaneous IV. Dramatic language as a means of expression and communication. V. Dramatic forms: tools with which one learns by playing VI. Dramatisation – performance VII. The adaptation of the play VIII. Proposal for a reverse process IX. The dramatic structure X. Genre and styles All of this will be dealt with by working with local legends from the different cities/countries of the participating organisations, thanks to which the young people will be able to fully immerse themselves in the knowledge of different cultures; representing and analysing the situations, characters, scenarios, etc. conveyed by these stories. In this way, an intercultural dialogue will be created, which will not only have a direct impact on the young people, but will also lead them to reflect on many other issues of life and society.
